ABOUT ME

I'm truly touched that you're interested in learning more about me. Thank you for that.

I've come to embrace a relaxed attitude, especially after battling cancer twice. It's been a tough journey, but it's taught me invaluable lessons about cherishing what truly matters in life: our loved ones and capturing life's significant moments.

My world revolves around my two energetic children, who keep me on my toes as their live-in butler. When I'm not behind my computer or behind the lens, I'm either wrestling with my son Ethan or engaging in deep conversations with my teenage daughter, Lena.

My chosen family, my close-knit group of friends, always brings warmth and fulfilment to my life. As a natural people-pleaser, I'm known to go the extra mile for those I love.

Weight training at my local gym is my passion, providing me with a sense of strength and accomplishment. It's always a delight to surprise my eldest daughter by still being able to lift her.

Two years ago, I took up Krav Maga, a form of self-defense, and I've since become a assistant coach for the women's class in my community. Empowering women to recognise their own strength and potential brings me immense satisfaction.

AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS THE SOCIAL HAND GRENADE.

I'm blessed with a non-identical twin sister whom I wish I could see more often, and my family is filled with quirky dynamics, including three younger brothers, two of whom are also twins. We've come to terms with our own brand of eccentricity.

Music holds a special place in my heart, with artists like Banks, Maggie Rogers, Florence and the Machine, and Jessie Ware being constant sources of inspiration. And when it comes to movies, I'm a sucker for romance, with favourites like "A Good Year," "Romeo & Juliet," and "Pride & Prejudice" topping my list.

Self-reflection and self-awareness are guiding principles in my life, and I dedicate time each week to journaling and delving deeper into understanding and being kinder to myself. It's a journey filled with challenges and growth, but one I'm fully committed to.

With over a decade of experience in photography, I've cultivated a sense of confidence in my craft and am genuinely excited about the prospect of creating breathtaking images for you.

ABOUT VERENA

2018 was the year when I fell out of love with my hometown Berlin. A tragic introduction but this led me to where and who I am today. My new happy place became Scotland (and still is) but because of my husband's job opportunity, we moved down to London in 2022 where our son Kaspar was born a year later. I have had a love-hate relationship with London over the last 2 years, but like most challenges in my life, I learned to take advantage of them and started to thrive in my new environment.

Laura Eve

ABOUT Laura eve

Over the years my love for people and photography collided and I now get to spend beautiful days with couples celebrating their love, I often pinch myself that this is my job! I absolutely adore what I do. When I'm not capturing moments you will find me swimming in the sea, hanging at the beach sauna or tending to my vegetable garden. I am hopelessly in love with nature and the coast.

Adam

watch me WORK

Lumix UK commissioned a little film of me, made by my good friend Drew Buckler. Here I talk about the benefits of switching to a mirrorless camera system and I'll be honest, saying the part about the "Lumix S Series" took at least 6 takes! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed filming it.

Things I love...

Lena (12) has worked hard to develop her artwork and is exceptionally talented at drawing her own semi realistic style

SURVIVING CANCER X 2

Grateful for every day without a blood test, MRI, biopsy, vacuum biopsy, radiation, chemotherapy, sore gums, CT Scan, picc line, mastectomy, reconstruction, scars, pain meds, blood clots (though that one was my fault). Cold head, no eyelashes, crippling heartburn, fuzzy mouth, muscle pains, monthly zoladex implants....not to mention dozens of awful hair styles during hair regrowth...

WALL ART

I absolutely love when my clients show me how they have used my images to decorate their home.

This styled shoot with The Curated Kitchen and The Oak and the Owl Florist was a dream come true. Best of all, once the photos were done we could eat!

Such a stunning flower, delicate, feminine and full of inner beauty.

COFFEE

My love for coffee is noteworthy. I was a late starter to drinking coffee but you could say I have made up for it. I have two cups to start my day and at least 4 more throughout the day always in my favourite cup!
