“We first met Laura at a birthday party she was photographing back in 2018, she captured a photo of my son – Cassius and my then boyfriend – Andy, it encapsulates the essence of their relationship, full of fun but also love. When I saw the photograph for the first time it really hit home that I had finally found a partner that I could really trust with our (mine and Cassius’s) hearts.

From then on our family grew and we used Laura for our new born shoot in 2019, we had just moved into our new home which is a renovation project, we had boxes and clothes everywhere and no time for anything other than feeds, nappies and trying to keep a then 5 year old occupied. Laura was a sea of calm and she was incredible with Cassius. Laura really is such a warm, fun person to be around and you cannot help but smile even when battling through extreme exhaustion.

When we were planning our wedding, Laura was the obvious choice, the photographs really do speak for themselves, Laura has frozen moments of love and joy in her images. Our focus was a more relaxed style with a few traditional group photographs thrown into the mix and Laura didn’t disappoint. We chose to have a second shooter to ensure that all the angles, venues and details were covered the images are exceptional, both Laura and Drew really did nail it.

What really sets Laura a part aside from the beautiful photography is that she goes above and beyond, she immerses herself in her work. Her communication is exactly what you need when you are planning a big event and she really does ensure she gets to know people to capture their essence. On the morning of our wedding, when tensions were running high, Laura was there with her wonderful calm aura and choice words of comfort, she couldn’t have done more on the day, always on hand to pin my hair up or straighten the boys ties. Laura blends in when she needs to capture those candid shots and is a presence when trying to organise people into some form of order.
